The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dillard dives in and grabs Dellon's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dellon pushes down on Dillard's head and hops out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dillard pushes Dellon off and gets back to his feet.

Dillard pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dillard tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dellon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dillard somewhat.
Dillard sets himself, and Dellon steps forward looking for the clinch! Dillard avoids it this time.
