Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Jester (ranked 5590 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Wazinsky (ranked 5589 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jake Jester!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Max Wazinsky!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wazinsky drives through with a takedown into guard.

Jester has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Wazinsky is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Wazinsky is trying to push Jester away but Jester has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Wazinsky pulls guard effortlessly.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wazinsky working for a triangle but Jester defends it easily.
Jester trying to control the position from guard on top but Wazinsky is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Jester drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jester jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wazinsky has a closed guard, preventing Jester from standing up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wazinsky is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Wazinsky really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jester. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wazinsky looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Jester content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Jester postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Jester is looking to work some ground and pound but Wazinsky has wrist control.
Jester trying to control the position from guard on top but Wazinsky is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jester is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Wazinsky keeping moving, preventing Jester from controlling successfully.
Jester is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Wazinsky is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Jester drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jester jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Jester throws a right hand that Wazinsky ducks under and follows up with a left that Wazinsky also avoids with ease.
The fighters circle momentarily. Wazinsky darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Wazinsky swings and misses with a hook to the body.
As Wazinsky looks to move away, Jester throws a big counter combo but Wazinsky just gets out of the way.
Wazinsky tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jester paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jester feinted with a counter takedown.

Wazinsky shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jester's guard.
Jester wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Wazinsky is now in half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jester is looking to improve his position.
Jester is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Wazinsky's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wazinsky's back!

Jester working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
Jester tries to keep control of the position but Wazinsky is staying busy.
Wazinsky is trying to get back to his feet but Jester has full control of the position and if anything, Wazinsky has just worked his way into a worse spot.

You can see the frustration on Wazinsky's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Jester trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

That's time! Jester's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Wazinsky darts in and clinches Jester up against the cage.
Knees in the clinch landing for Jester.
Jester tries for a takedown but Wazinsky manages to get underhooks.
Jester stops a takedown attempt from Wazinsky.

Jester tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A frustrated look appears on Wazinsky's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Jester doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Wazinsky drags the fight down to the ground.
Jake Jester overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Wazinsky can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jester controls the pace.

Wazinsky throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Jester wants to control from the top but Wazinsky keeps moving.
Jester slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Jester gets to mount! Wazinsky was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Jester looking to control but Wazinsky is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Jester pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jester cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!


It looks like Max Wazinsky has been cut.
Jester controlling from the full mount.
Jester tries to control but Wazinsky wriggling away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wazinsky is in all sorts of trouble here.
Jester avoids the attempt from Wazinsky to control.
Wazinsky is trying to escape the mount.

Wazinsky is squirming around, avoiding Jester's attempts to control the action.
Wazinsky is desperately trying to improve his position but Jester has a good base and remains in mount.

Jester is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Wazinsky has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Jester can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wazinsky is looking to escape.

Jester looking for a guillotine from mount but Wazinsky is having none of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Wazinsky is trying to reverse the position but instead Jester has taken his back - oops!

The referee is taking a good look at Wazinsky as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Jester!

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Jester has Wazinsky flattened out and is raining down punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Jester shoots in but Wazinsky avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jester.
And Wazinsky responds with a good body kick, but Jester manages to step out the way in time.

Jester tries to keep at a distance but Wazinsky has taken the fight into the clinch.
Wazinsky looking to slow down the pace here.

Jester drags the fight down to the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wazinsky won't allow Jester to get back to his feet.

Jester throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Jester working for submissions but it's allowed Wazinsky to get to half guard.
Wazinsky is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Jester manages to get to full guard.

Jester lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Jester stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wazinsky swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jester passes Wazinsky's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Jester stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Wazinsky to get to his feet.
Jake Jester is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Wazinsky fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jester sprawls well initially but Wazinsky persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Wazinsky is looking to stall here but Jester recovers full guard.

Jester is trying to keep Wazinsky in close.
Jester on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jester tries to get out of the position.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Jester could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Wazinsky stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Wazinsky fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jester, pushing him back against the cage.
Wazinsky misses with a hook to the ribs.
Jester is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Wazinsky can do to turn this around?
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Jester has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Wazinsky is trying to keep an underhook but Jester manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Wazinsky wants to control but Jester is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Max Wazinsky has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jake Jester is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Wazinsky is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jester's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jester's back!

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Max Wazinsky.
I think Jester has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
