PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Henry (ranked 2048 p4p, 246 weight class) and Henry Armstrong (ranked 2432 p4p, 279 weight class). Henry Armstrong will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong throws a combination that misses
letting Henry counter with a right hand.
Armstrong stalks Henry and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Henry's face. Henry staggers backwards, shaken.
Henry takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Armstrong tries to land a leg kick but Henry saw it coming and moves away.
As Armstrong tries to get set, Henry tries to push him back and clinch up but Armstrong manages to avoid the attempt.

letting Henry counter with a right hand.

It looks like Henry Armstrong has been cut.

Armstrong takes the fight into the clinch.
Henry lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Armstrong ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Armstrong no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
