Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lotus Flower (ranked 2867 p4p, 139 weight class) and DeJuan Carneiro (ranked 3701 p4p, 173 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Lotus Flower has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Lotus Flower seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flower misses with a head kick.
Flower scores with a hook to the body. Carneiro takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Carneiro shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Flower napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Flower sneaks out the side door and pushes Carneiro away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Flower manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Carneiro on his heels. He'll look to pass Carneiro's guard now, I'm sure.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Flower throwing strikes from guard but Carneiro blocks nicely.
Carneiro lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Carneiro wants to control from the top but Flower keeps moving.
Flower can't keep his opponent in guard - Carneiro advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Carneiro is trying for a kimura here. Flower looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Carneiro wins by kimura!
