Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Silent Bob (ranked 4262 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Scorpion (ranked 2977 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Bob keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bob paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Bob misses the jab.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Scorpion! But no joy.
Bob misses with a double jab
and Scorpion counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Bob ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Bob connects with a good right hand that stumbles Scorpion. Scorpion circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Scorpion throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bob on the side of the head.

Scorpion moves into the clinch.
Scorpion lands with a right to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Scorpion misses with a hook from the clinch.
Scorpion fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Scorpion misses with a hook from the clinch.
Scorpion misses with some punches.

Bob pulls guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bob is looking to cinch up a triangle. Scorpion throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Bob's body to avoid the submission. Bob has instead reached around Scorpion's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Bob arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Silent Bob!
