The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez stuffs the takedown attempt from Gonzales. Gonzales gets slowly back to his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gonzales looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sanchez throws a right and a left that both miss.
No luck for Gonzales with that takedown attempt.
Gonzales tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Gonzales shoots in looking for a takedown. Sanchez tries to sprawl out of it but Gonzales keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sanchez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Sanchez throws a series of punches but Gonzales avoids them all with ease.

Sanchez dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gonzales. That did some damage!

Gonzales takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Sanchez decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sanchez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gonzales keeps working.

Sanchez stands up and beckons Gonzales to join him on the feet.

Sanchez thumps Gonzales with a low kick.
Sanchez throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sanchez bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gonzales's head backwards.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Sanchez.

Sanchez lands a head shot.
Sanchez tries to bum rush Gonzales with a series of wild strikes but Gonzales uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Sanchez rushes Gonzales with punches - Gonzales moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Gonzales goes down! Sanchez follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
