Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schulpp has his takedown stuffed
enabling Johnson to counter with a crisp jab.
Johnson throws a head kick but Schulpp moves out of range.
Johnson misses with a head kick.
Johnson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Schulpp.
Some wild striking there from Johnson.
Schulpp half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Johnson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Johnson lands in his opponent's guard.
Schulpp has his hands on Johnson's head, controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Schulpp's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Schulpp has control of Johnson's left arm, preventing Johnson from doing any damage.

Schulpp has his feet on Johnson's thighs here. He's pushed Johnson off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Johnson screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
