Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Larry Baker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Victor Plouman!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plouman shoots in but Baker avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Plouman dives in and grabs Baker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Baker pushes down on Plouman's head and hops out.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Plouman is defended easily by Baker.
Larry Baker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Victor Plouman.
Plouman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Baker tries to avoid it but Plouman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Baker to the ground. Baker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A punch combination from Baker misses.
Baker throws a body kick that misses

and Plouman counters with a takedown into side control.

Plouman working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Plouman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Plouman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Plouman tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Baker tries to escape but Plouman is in control.

Baker on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Baker tries to get out of the position.

Plouman tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Plouman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Plouman wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Baker, who protects the arm well.

Plouman is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Baker knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Plouman has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Baker is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Plouman yanks on the arm and Baker is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Plouman.
