The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Israel tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mcintyre paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mcintyre was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Mcintyre stuffs the takedown attempt from Israel. Israel gets slowly back to his feet.
Mcintyre avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Israel takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Israel throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mcintyre closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Mcintyre breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
