The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Amos Solomon has been cut.
Gonzalez throws a series of punches but Solomon moves out of range.
Gonzalez closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Gonzalez's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Gonzalez duly obliges.

Scotty Gonzalez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Solomon takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Gonzalez tries to bum rush Solomon with a series of wild strikes but Solomon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Solomon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gonzalez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Solomon somewhat.

Solomon swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Gonzalez stalks Solomon and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Solomon 's face. Solomon staggers backwards, shaken.
Solomon is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gonzalez.
Gonzalez lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Solomon backs up against the cage.

The cut above Amos Solomon 's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

No joy there for Solomon , who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Solomon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gonzalez avoids it really well and circles away.

Solomon throws the left hand but Gonzalez avoids the punch easily.
Donk. Gonzalez catches Solomon right on the button with a cross.
Gonzalez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Solomon shoots in looking for a takedown. Gonzalez tries to sprawl out of it but Solomon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gonzalez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A solid leg kick lands there for Solomon .
Solomon dives in for a single leg takedown but Gonzalez sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Gonzalez displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Solomon throws out the jab.
Gonzalez moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Amos Solomon 's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Solomon shoots in for a takedown but Gonzalez shows good takedown defense.

Scotty Gonzalez decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
