Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Jones (ranked 4653 p4p, 384 weight class) and Karl Aguinaldo (ranked 8025 p4p, 510 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Electric Worry. Aguinaldo has chosen The Game as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Karl Aguinaldo looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones scores with the left hand. Aguinaldo knows he should have avoided that one.
Jones moves in looking to clinch but Aguinaldo pushes him off.

and Aguinaldo counters with a three punch combo that has Jones backing up. Jones nods at Aguinaldo to acknowledge the strikes.

Jones has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Jones decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Jones gets caught napping as Aguinaldo dives in and scores a takedown. Jones manages to retain guard.
Jones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Aguinaldo manages to get himself to full guard.

Jones seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Jones stands and steps away. Aguinaldo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Aguinaldo closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Aguinaldo pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

No joy there for Aguinaldo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Aguinaldo pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Jones back to the cage. Aguinaldo follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Aguinaldo walks into a straight right hand from Jones.

Jones rushes Aguinaldo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Jones manages to break the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Aguinaldo throws a series of punches but Jones moves out of range.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Aguinaldo takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Jones lands a big head kick that sends Aguinaldo tumbling to the mat! Jones takes a step backwards and waves Aguinaldo back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Jones connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Aguinaldo momentarily.
Aguinaldo switches off momentarily and Jones cracks him with a monster right hand! Aguinaldo topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Jones dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Jones!
