Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wright gets tackled into the cage by Johnny. Johnny maintains the clinch.
Johnny is working for takedown but Wright is calmly controlling the position for now.

Wright has hold of one of Johnny's legs. Johnny is fighting the takedown attempt but Wright gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Johnny is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Wright lands a couple of elbows.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Wright's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
We've been hearing that Wright has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Johnny isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Wright stacks Johnny on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Wright!
Johnny is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Wright off and has taken his back!
Wright looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Johnny looking to break Wright's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Wright remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Johnny will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wright tries to escape but Johnny has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Wright wants to control his opponent's hands but Johnny gets his hands free.
Wright is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Wright defends a prolonged rear naked choke attempt and turns nicely into his opponent's guard.

Johnny is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wright defends well.

Johnny really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wright. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Johnny is still in real trouble! Can Wright finish him?
Wright lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Johnny is striking from the bottom but Wright uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
Wright lands a big elbow - Johnny is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Wright!
