Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereirinha defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Grigorovic.
Pereirinha has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Grigorovic.
Pereirinha lands a really nice looking cross but Grigorovic seems unphased.

Grigorovic throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Pereirinha was covering up waiting for the punch and Grigorovic finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Grigorovic postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Grigorovic avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Pereirinha trying to keep a closed guard but Grigorovic is proving a slippery customer.

Pereirinha is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Pereirinha is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Pereirinha is breathing heavily.

Grigorovic drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Pereirinha dives on top into guard.

Pereirinha has gone for a leg lock! Grigorovic slips out almost immediately though and dives into Pereirinha's guard.

Grigorovic tries to free his leg and advance position but Pereirinha is retaining full guard.

Pereirinha throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Grigorovic escapes and throws Pereirinha's legs to the side, diving into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Grigorovic wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pereirinha, who protects the arm well.

Grigorovic thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Grigorovic working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Grigorovic has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Pereirinha is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Grigorovic yanks on the arm and Pereirinha is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Grigorovic.
