Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chi Berry (ranked 25359 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chistopher Hammer (ranked 5643 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammer has chosen Arch Enemy - The world is yours as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hammer takes the fight into the clinch.

Berry pulls guard effortlessly.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hammer can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hammer throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Berry tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hammer is in Berry's guard.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Hammer. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Hammer drops back, looking for a kneebar! Berry looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Berry looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Berry!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Berry accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Berry postures up in Hammer's guard and throws a big left but Hammer blocks it.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Hammer gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Berry tries to pull guard but Hammer forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Hammer has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Berry uses from the top position.

Well Hammer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
