Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Max Paddy (ranked 3170 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy White (ranked 4248 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Max Paddy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 22 - 4, fighting out of Hilo, Freddy White!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White lands with a cross.
White avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
White feints and then cracks Paddy's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Paddy down.
Paddy has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Paddy darts in trying to clinch
and White counters with a nice uppercut.
Paddy gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and White connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
White throws a sloppy head kick and Paddy moves out of range easily.
Paddy slips under a jab.
A solid leg kick lands there for White.
White has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Paddy throws a hook but White blocks it.
White tries a quick counter leg kick but Paddy is wise to it.
Paddy misses with a takedown attempt - White sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Paddy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but White circles away quickly and effectively.
Paddy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but White paws at him with a jab and circles away.
White only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Paddy closes the distance but White moves to the side
and White counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Paddy throws a left and a right that both miss
and White scores with a counter punch that sends Paddy to the canvas! White smells blood - he's punishing Paddy with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Paddy has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Freddy White!
A relieved looking Freddy White thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
