The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jackson is defended easily by Leofwine.
Jackson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jackson shoots in but Leofwine avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Taskill Leofwine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shawn Jackson.
Jackson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Leofwine is fending him off so far but Jackson persists. Nope, Leofwine circles away and we're back to standing.
Leofwine fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Jackson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Shawn Jackson has been cut.
Jackson fails with the takedown.
Leofwine connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jackson. Jackson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Leofwine jabs Jackson right on the nose. Jackson blinks but takes it well.
Jackson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Leofwine defends well and Jackson ends up having to push Leofwine into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Leofwine half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Leofwine keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Leofwine lands with a shot to the body.
Leofwine ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Leofwine moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Jackson is rocked!
Leofwine lands a jab to Jackson's midsection.
Jackson is still on wobbly legs! Can Leofwine finish him?
Shawn Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson looks winded!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Horrible takedown attempt by Jackson or perhaps it was just good defense by Leofwine, which made it look bad.
Jackson drops his hands momentarily. Leofwine doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Jackson staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Jackson doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
