Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vardy throws a sloppy head kick and Squirrelly moves out of range easily.

Squirrelly is looking to counter punch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vardy moves away from the strike by Squirrelly.

Squirrelly bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Vardy throws a solid leg kick but Squirrelly takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Vardy.
Squirrelly swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Vardy needs to keep his hands up - Squirrelly had a free shot at his head there.

Squirrelly feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Vardy sprawling to the canvas! Vardy rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Squirrelly finish him?!

Vardy is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Squirrelly lands a leg kick that knocks Vardy off balance momentarily.

A little feinted left hand from Squirrelly on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Vardy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

letting Squirrelly counter with a right hand.

Squirrelly was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Vardy has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Vardy there as he acknowledges the shot.

Squirrelly paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Vardy tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Vardy throws a body kick, spinning off balance

and Squirrelly counters with a crisp one two that drops Vardy! Squirrelly thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Vardy to his feet! Vardy is in big trouble!
Squirrelly lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Vardy falls backwards - clearly groggy! Squirrelly dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
