Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ankle Drew (ranked 5778 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Bocian (ranked 5891 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

so Drew counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Bocian manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Drew swings around for an armbar but Bocian sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Drew's guard.

and Drew decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bocian's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Horrible takedown attempt by Bocian or perhaps it was just good defense by Drew, which made it look bad.

Bocian lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Bocian should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

That was a close round but I would say that Ankle Drew will probably get the nod.

Bocian tries to bum rush Drew with a series of wild strikes but Drew uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bocian looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Drew is defending well. Bocian quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Drew has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Bocian celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
