Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris Barrie (ranked 6884 p4p, 515 weight class) and Baron Geisler (ranked 3807 p4p, 377 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Baron Geisler!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Geisler swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Barrie connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Barrie fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Geisler on the side of the head.
Geisler rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Barrie connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Barrie throws a body punch but Geisler moves out of range.
Barrie throws a series of punches but Geisler moves out of range.
Geisler doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Geisler throws a nice head kick!
Barrie ducks under a wild hook from Geisler.
Barrie just misses with a punch to the body.
Barrie throws an off balance right hand
and Geisler cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Barrie misses with an uppercut
and Geisler counters with a big uppercut that knocks Barrie off his feet! Geisler dives into side control looking to finish!
Barrie is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Barrie being controlled for a moment.
Oh Barrie is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Barrie is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Geisler has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sloppy strikes there by Geisler.
Geisler fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Barrie is trying to escape the position but Geisler is controlling the position.

A lull in the action here.

Geisler moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Let's hope that Geisler has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Geisler in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Geisler is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Barrie's shoulder. That is not cool.
Barrie dodges the ground and pound from Geisler.
The referee asks Geisler politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Geisler prefers to stall for the moment though.
Geisler misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Geisler decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Geisler knocks out Barrie with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Geisler before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Geisler picks up the big W with a huge KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Baron Geisler!
