Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gavin Myers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Christian Alvarado!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alvarado clinches up with Myers and pushes him back against the cage.
Myers fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Myers with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Myers comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Alvarado gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Myers looks like he's trying to stand up.
Nice strikes from Alvarado there.
Alvarado slips a nice elbow through Myers's hands, connecting with Myers's forehead.
Alvarado working over Myers with some ground and pound. Myers looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Alvarado looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Myers with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Alvarado working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alvarado trying to control the action but Myers is working from the bottom.
Alvarado winds up and cracks Myers with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Alvarado lands a nice short elbow.

Myers is rocked!
Alvarado lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Myers! More strikes land and this one is all over! Alvarado jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
