Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ace Freeman (ranked 4415 p4p, 534 weight class) and Fred Dursty (ranked 4063 p4p, 499 weight class). Ace Freeman had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The key to victory for Ace Freeman has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Dursty controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Freeman throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Dursty lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Dursty stands up over Freeman, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Freeman is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Dursty connects with a couple of short punches.
Dursty pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Freeman is keeping the position for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dursty cracks Freeman with a solid left hand.
Freeman has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Dursty is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Freeman.

Dursty cracks Freeman with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Dursty immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Freeman is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Dursty!

Fred Dursty was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
