Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harry Winks (ranked 4239 p4p, 425 weight class) and Nobu Sanada (ranked 2490 p4p, 279 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Nobu Sanada was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winks takes a swing at Sanada's ribcage but misses.
Sanada is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Winks with a body shot.
Sanada throws a body shot but no joy.
Winks connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Sanada misses with a straight right.
Winks keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Sanada throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Winks.
Sanada throws a hook but Winks blocks it.
Sanada ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Winks moves away.
Sanada displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Winks throws out the jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sanada lands a lovely overhand right.
Winks throws a right hand that Sanada ducks under and follows up with a left that Sanada also avoids with ease.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sanada! But no joy.

Sanada stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Winks.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Winks, as that shot connected.
Sanada blocks a jab.
Winks misses with a hook.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sanada! But no joy.

Sanada cracks Winks with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Winks scores with a nice strike.
Sanada avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

and Winks takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Winks wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sanada bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Sanada dips to his left and cracks Winks with an uppercut!
Winks tries to bum rush Sanada with a series of wild strikes but Sanada uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Winks tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sanada was well out of range. Poor timing from Winks.
Winks motions for Sanada to come forward. Winks throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Winks throws a nice outside leg kick.
Sanada is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Winks.

and Sanada counters with a nice uppercut.
Sanada misses with a looping left.
Winks scores with a jab to the body.

A bone on bone clash there as Sanada blocks the leg kick.
The crowd cheers as Winks lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sanada doesn't seem phased though.

and Winks counters with a good low kick that Sanada was not able to check.
Winks drops Sanada with a huge uppercut! Sanada drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Winks is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
