Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kaz McStafferson (ranked 1302 p4p, 167 weight class) and Chrisopher Ball (ranked 829 p4p, 110 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McStafferson throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Ball connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kaz McStafferson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McStafferson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ball counters with a lovely straight right hand!
McStafferson has his takedown stuffed
and Ball counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
McStafferson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ball avoids it really well and circles away.
McStafferson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kaz McStafferson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

McStafferson has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Ball's body.

Ball is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get McStafferson off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
