Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brent Barber (ranked 25299 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kade Lulow (ranked 5759 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barber ducks under a wild hook from Lulow.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Barber enables Lulow to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Barber manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Barber manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Barber has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Lulow is on him like a limpet, forcing Barber back against the cage.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Lulow tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lulow has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Lulow wants to lay and pray for a moment but Barber keeps working.

Barber is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Lulow is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Barber is in a horrible position here. Lulow smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Lulow got a little sloppy there for a moment and Barber has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lulow has managed to get both his arms back between Barber's legs - danger averted.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lulow is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Barber is hurt! He's hurt bad - Lulow fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Barber from any more punishment! Congratulations to Lulow! Great finish!
