Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Unai Vencedor (ranked 2133 p4p, 208 weight class) and Frank Stallone (ranked 5228 p4p, 360 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Stallone!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vencedor swats away the attempt to clinch by Stallone.
Nice sprawl there from Vencedor as Stallone shoots in.
Vencedor wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Stallone's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Vencedor connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Stallone scrambles back to his feet.
Unai Vencedor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vencedor connects with a good right hand that stumbles Stallone. Stallone circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
We've been told by Vencedor's head coaches at JAG Training Grounds [$500/week] that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Stallone gets a takedown into half guard.
Stallone wants to pass to mount but Vencedor is defending the position.
Vencedor keeping hold of Stallone's head, controlling as best he can.

Stallone is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Vencedor defends it well.

Stallone is stalling here. Vencedor is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Stallone seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Vencedor has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Stallone is trying to improve his position.

Vencedor decides to stand up, so the ref orders Stallone to his feet.
Vencedor's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Vencedor duly obliges.
Stallone wants to clinch up but Vencedor keeps it at a distance.
Vencedor throws a big shot that misses.
Stallone tries to clinch there but Vencedor circles away.
Stallone looks for a takedown but Vencedor sprawls well.
Unai Vencedor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Stallone gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Vencedor counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Unai Vencedor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Stallone.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Vencedor enables Stallone to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Vencedor manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vencedor is adopting a defensive guard.
Stallone is pushing down on Vencedor's leg trying to pass to half guard. Vencedor is fighting to maintain full guard but Stallone has managed to sneak the leg through.

Stallone has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Vencedor defend it? Stallone steps over the head and cranks it - Vencedor is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Stallone!
