Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Slim Sylvia (ranked 2019 p4p, 192 weight class) and Antero Vipunen (ranked 3652 p4p, 316 weight class). Sylvia kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Some Country Shit. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vipunen misses with a series of wild punches.
Sylvia appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Sylvia thows a body kick. Vipunen tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Antero Vipunen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vipunen. Sylvia does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sylvia lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Vipunen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sylvia circles away.
Vipunen has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Vipunen there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like Antero Vipunen has been cut.
Sylvia scores with a jab to the jaw.

We've been informed that Vipunen has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vipunen takes a swing at Sylvia's ribcage but misses.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vipunen.

Sylvia steps into range and cracks Vipunen with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Vipunen flops backwards and Sylvia dives into his guard looking to finish!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Vipunen is on top in guard.

Sylvia seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Sylvia throws a nice outside leg kick.
Vipunen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sylvia throws a shot from downtown. Vipunen moves away and avoids it.
Vipunen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sylvia but Sylvia pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sylvia lands a nice looking kick to the body. Vipunen takes a step back to recover.

Sylvia catches Vipunen with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
The cut above Antero Vipunen's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Sylvia throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sylvia dodges the punch combination from Vipunen.
Vipunen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sylvia pinned against the cage. Sylvia gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sylvia tries a head kick but it misses.
Vipunen drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Sylvia defends it well.
Slim Sylvia is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Vipunen tries to clinch but Sylvia moves out of range.
Sylvia blocks a head kick by Vipunen.
Sylvia tries a low kick but Vipunen avoids it.
Vipunen shoots in and drives through. Sylvia sprawls well.
That kick from Sylvia tenderised Vipunen's leg. Vipunen is trying to keep his angry face on.
Sylvia throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sylvia scores with a sloppy right hand. Vipunen should have avoided that one.
Sylvia is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Sylvia tried to score with a low kick but Vipunen checks it.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Vipunen throws a head kick but Sylvia moves out of range.

Vipunen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sylvia feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Vipunens jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Vipunen shoots in for a takedown but Sylvia shows good takedown defense.
Slim Sylvia is winning the standup battle so far.
Good standup being displayed there by Sylvia as he connects with a hook.
Antero Vipunen's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Sylvia looks to throw the jab but Vipunen is out of range.
Sylvia throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vipunen stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Sylvia connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Antero Vipunen's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Slim Sylvia!
Slim Sylvia really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Freebok (85% Laundry) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
