Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ric Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Waldir Maluco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Waldir Maluco told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Edson Gomes and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin closes the distance and clinches up with Maluco, looking for a takedown. Austin pushes Maluco against the cage but Maluco circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Maluco misses with a takedown
and Austin counters with a two punch combo.
Maluco scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Austin tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
Maluco decides to stand back up. Maluco steps back and let's Austin get back to his feet.
Maluco gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Austin counters with a takedown into side control.
Austin lands some shots froms side control.
It looks like Waldir Maluco has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Austin is putting a hurting on Maluco here, landing some big shots from side control.
That has opened up Waldir Maluco's cut even more.
Maluco looks gassed!
Austin lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Maluco down.
The cut above Waldir Maluco's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Waldir Maluco's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
