Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aloysius Wiremu (ranked 2141 p4p, 233 weight class) and Danny Tucker (ranked 1825 p4p, 214 weight class). Wiremu comes into the arena with Billy Joel - The River of Dreams blaring out of the sound system. Aloysius Wiremu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiremu fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Tucker.
Tucker defending well as Wiremu loads up on a big left hand.

The crowd cheers as Tucker lands an impressive looking overhand right. Wiremu doesn't seem phased though.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Wiremu.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Tucker in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tucker cracks Wiremu with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Wiremu falls to his knees and Tucker doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
