The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paavilainen throws a leg kick
and Asmundsen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Paavilainen shoots in for a takedown but Asmundsen shows good takedown defense.
Paavilainen moves in looking to clinch but Asmundsen pushes him off.
Asmundsen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Asmundsen pulls guard successfully.
Asmundsen doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Paavilainen stopping the sweep attempt from Asmundsen.

Asmundsen thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
