Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suki fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gibbs, pushing him back against the cage.
Suki manages to break the clinch.
Suki scores with a takedown into Gibbs's guard.
Gibbs controls Suki momentarily but Suki frees himself.
Gibbs bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Suki's guard.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Suki manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Suki has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Gibbs uses from the top position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Suki can do anything to dispel that myth.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Gibbs shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Suki napping and manages to drive through into side control!

That was a close second round but I would say that Major Gibbs will probably get the nod.

Daiki Suki comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Suki has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
