The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Douillet keeps the fight on the outside.
Douillet feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Douillet is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Douillet won't allow Smith to get back to his feet.
Douillet might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Douillet not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Smith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Douillet. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Douillet's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
