Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dougie Logan (ranked 3095 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Pablos (ranked 2640 p4p, 101 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Pablo Pablos was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pablos dives in and scores a takedown into Logan's guard.
Pablos wants to pass the guard but Logan is keeping the position.
Logan has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pablos is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pablos tries to hold on but Logan pushes him away.

Logan digs a right hand underneath Pablos's ribcage. Pablos let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Logan throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Pabloss head.
Logan lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Pablos backwards.

Pablos is trying to pull guard but Logan turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Logan lands a nice uppercut.
Pablos jumps guard but Logan stands there with Pablos around his waist. Pablos gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Logan digs a right hand underneath Pablos's ribcage. Pablos let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Still in half guard, Logan seems content to control.
Logan passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Pablos!
Pablos bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Pablos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Logan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Logan has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Pablos had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Logan defends it easily.
Logan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Pablos working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Logan has passed into half guard!
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Pablos is trying to stand.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pablos shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Dougie Logan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pablo Pablos.
Pablos stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Logan.
Logan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Logan wants it to stay on the feet.
Pablos tries to score a power double leg takedown but Logan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pablos somewhat.
A little feinted left hand from Logan on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Pablos walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Pablos shoots in and drives through. Logan sprawls well.
Logan connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

and Logan counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
