Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Myres (ranked 5373 p4p, 654 weight class) and David Ford (ranked 4977 p4p, 619 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Robert Myres has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Robert Myres seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myres closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Myres.
It looks like David Ford has been cut.
Ford's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Myres is leaning against Ford and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Myres lands a shoulder strike.

Myres lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Ford's coach down at Cozad MMA New York was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ford's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Myres lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ford backwards.
Myres scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Myres stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Myres fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Myres comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
That has opened up David Ford's cut even more.

Myres lands an elbow that stopped Ford in his tracks for a moment.

David Ford's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Myres pushes off an throws an elbow but Ford leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Myres gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at David Ford's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
