Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Solomon Nao (ranked 799 p4p, 84 weight class) and Boris Balkan (ranked 2258 p4p, 223 weight class). Nao comes to the cage accompanied by The End. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Boris Balkan!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Balkan gets tackled into the cage by Nao. Nao maintains the clinch.
A left hand lands to the body for Nao.

Balkan breaks from the clinch.
Good shot there by Nao.

It looks like Boris Balkan has been cut.
Balkan throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Balkan ducks right into an uppercut from Nao.
Nao throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nao tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Balkan counters with a stiff right hand.
Nao throws a sloppy head kick and Balkan moves out of range easily.
Balkan steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Balkan lands a nice leg kick that just misses Nao's sensitive parts.
Nao is looking to score with low kicks.
A nice inside leg kick there by Balkan. That's going to slow Nao down.
Balkan looks to throw a body kick
letting Nao counter with a right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nao takes one on the button.

It looks like Solomon Nao has been cut.
Nao gets cracked there but stands up to it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Balkan pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Nao has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Crack! Nao connects with the perfect overhand right and Balkan falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Nao!

After winning the bout, Solomon Nao thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
