Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ashraf Hassan (ranked 7120 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Thomas (ranked 6936 p4p, 729 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ashraf Hassan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Will Thomas!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas ducks under a wild hook from Hassan.
Thomas should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Thomas looks to land a combination. Hassan sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Thomas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hassan tries to avoid it but Thomas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hassan to the ground. Hassan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A jab from Hassan misses.
Thomas slips a straight right by Hassan.
Thomas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hassan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hassan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Thomas.
Thomas needs to keep his hands up - Hassan had a free shot at his head there.
Thomas connects with a high kick.
Thomas moves in looking to clinch but Hassan pushes him off.
Hassan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Thomas gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hassan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Thomas clinches up against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hassan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Thomas tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hassan swivels and escapes.
Hassan was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Ashraf Hassan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Will Thomas.
Thomas tries to clinch but Hassan moves out of range.
Hassan is looking to counter punch.
Hassan throws a shot from downtown. Thomas moves away and avoids it.
Thomas with the counter takedown but Hassan avoids it easily.
Thomas tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hassan defends well and Thomas ends up having to push Hassan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Ashraf Hassan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hassan misses with a hook.
Hassan misses with an uppercut. Thomas saw that one coming.
Thomas fails with an attempt to clinch.
Thomas darts in looking for a takedown but Hassan gets double underhooks and turns Thomas into the cage.
Hassan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Thomas walks into a jab.
Hassan throws a looping overhand right but Thomas ducks down to avoid it.
Horrible takedown attempt by Thomas or perhaps it was just good defense by Hassan, which made it look bad.

Thomas looks winded!
Hassan throws a hook but Thomas avoids it easily.
Thomas is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Thomas shoots in for a takedown but Hassan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Hassan scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

It looks like Will Thomas has been cut.
Thomas takes a jab right on the kisser.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Thomas takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Hassan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hassan wants it to stay on the feet.
Hassan cracks a nice hook into Thomas's ribs.
A decent looking cross lands there for Hassan.
Hassan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hassan works Thomas's body with a nice hook.
Thomas takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Hassan lands a jab to the head.
Hassan connects with a nice looking jab.

Thomas is rocked!
Hassan dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Thomas is still on wobbly legs! Can Hassan finish him?
Hassan is stalking Thomas. Thomas circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Hassan, and it's lights out! Thomas really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
