The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akintan lets loose with a powerful body kick. Guy Right will feel that in the morning.
Akintan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Guy Right's calf.
Akintan getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Guy Right throws out a counter right but Akintan avoids it with no problem.

Akintan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Akintan throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Guy Right stumbling backwards into the cage! Guy Right bounces back off the cage towards Akintan, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Akintan lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Akintan celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
