The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Destroya fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Barnett sprawls well initially but Destroya persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Barnett tries to kick Destroya off but Destroya keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Destroya performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Barnett wants to control but Destroya is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Barnett is looking to escape.
Destroya decides to stand and escape the position.

Barnett has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Destroya is on him like a limpet, forcing Barnett back against the cage.

and Destroya counters with a one-two to the body.

Barnett drops back looking for a leg! Destroya is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Destroya manages to kick Barnett off! Barnett jumps back into Destroya's guard.

Destroya shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Barnett manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Barnett shoots in looking for a takedown. Destroya tries to sprawl out of it but Barnett keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Destroya manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Pwussy Destroya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Barnett is looking to get back to is feet but Destroya passes into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Barnett wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Destroya lands a big elbow.
Destroya trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Destroya is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Barnett can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Destroya sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Barnett's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Barnett sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Barnett is trying to stand back up but Destroya is controlling him

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Destroya just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pwussy Destroya showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Barnett tries to close the distance and clinch but Destroya swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Barnett can't keep his opponent in guard - Destroya advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Destroya stands up out of the half guard.
Destroya bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Barnett throws Destroya to one side and escapes!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Barnett has had enough of the clinch but Destroya keeps him there for the moment.

I would just about give that final round to Pwussy Destroya.
Well Destroya has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
