Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jamison Eaton (ranked 8280 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conner MacGreiger (ranked 5772 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eaton gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows MacGreiger to score an easy takedown into full guard.
MacGreiger slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Eaton looking for a sweep. Not yet Eaton, not yet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
MacGreiger missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
MacGreiger trying to control the position from guard on top but Eaton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

MacGreiger stays in close to Eaton's body and controls the position.
Eaton has his foot on MacGreiger's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. MacGreiger works his way back into a safe position though.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Eaton connects with a nice short shot to MacGreiger's temple.

Eaton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Eaton is looking for a kimura but MacGreiger is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Eaton to get the leverage.
Eaton is trying to control. MacGreiger wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
MacGreiger moves into the clinch.
Eaton tries to score a body lock takedown but MacGreiger shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
MacGreiger turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Eaton tries to improve position but can't.
Eaton is looking to work his way out of this bad position but MacGreiger is controlling him well.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
MacGreiger looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

That was a close round but I would say that Jamison Eaton will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
MacGreiger fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Eaton, pushing him back against the cage.
MacGreiger jumps guard.
Eaton preventing the sweep.
Eaton trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Eaton drops back, looking for a kneebar! MacGreiger looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. MacGreiger looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from MacGreiger!
MacGreiger working the strikes but Eaton uses the opportunity to regain half guard.

Eaton is looking for a triangle but MacGreiger pushes his legs off easily.
Eaton had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. MacGreiger defends it easily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
MacGreiger working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
MacGreiger controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Jamison Eaton overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
MacGreiger looking to sit in guard and control but Eaton gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
MacGreiger wants to sweep here but Eaton controlling him for the moment.

Eaton postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Eaton content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Eaton is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jamison Eaton is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
MacGreiger fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Eaton sprawls well initially but MacGreiger persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Eaton wants to get back to full guard.
Eaton looking for a kimura from the bottom but MacGreiger passes into side control!

That's time! Eaton's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
MacGreiger is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
MacGreiger manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Eaton on his heels. He'll look to pass Eaton's guard now, I'm sure.
Eaton has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes MacGreiger off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
MacGreiger drives through with a takedown into Eaton's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
MacGreiger is looking to pass into half guard but Eaton pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Eaton is in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
MacGreiger pulls Eaton in close to prevent any damage.

Eaton throws MacGreiger to one side and escapes!
MacGreiger takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
MacGreiger shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Eaton napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
MacGreiger throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Eaton works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Eaton is trying to get back to full guard.

MacGreiger is keen to just control but Eaton is a slippery customer.
MacGreiger might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Eaton haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
MacGreiger wants to stand up but Eaton is controlling the position.

MacGreiger is looking to advance position but Eaton won't allow it.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Conner MacGreiger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

MacGreiger fails with an attempt to clinch.
Eaton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts MacGreiger as he jumps to the side.
MacGreiger fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Eaton, pushing him back against the cage.
Eaton jumps guard and drags MacGreiger to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
MacGreiger with a flurry of punches that miss.
MacGreiger is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
MacGreiger stands up from Eaton's guard - MacGreiger perhaps looking for a knockout.

MacGreiger throws a right and a left that Eaton avoids nicely.
MacGreiger gets a takedown into half guard.
Eaton is looking to get back to is feet but MacGreiger passes into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
MacGreiger moves into full mount!
MacGreiger throwing strikes here but Eaton is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jamison Eaton.
I think Eaton has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
