Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michal Trevino (ranked 25305 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Zhaire (ranked 5761 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexander Zhaire told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zhaire throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Trevino tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Zhaire is in Trevino's guard.

Zhaire gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Trevino moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Trevino leaves Zhaire with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
