The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Hendricks cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

A little feinted left hand from Hendricks on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Dyddy throws a lazy right hand but Hendricks sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Dyddy drives through and clinches with Hendricks against the cage.
Dyddy will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Hendricks up against the cage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Dyddy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hendricks.

Dyddy throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hendricks tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dyddy is in Hendricks's guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dyddy connects with a nice short shot to Hendricks's temple.
Hendricks is pressing down on Dyddy's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Dyddy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hendricks swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dyddy is working Hendricks over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Dyddy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Dyddy passes Hendricks's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Dyddy is keen to just control but Hendricks is a slippery customer.

Py Dyddy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Dyddy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
