Trevino closes the distance and clinches up with Thompson, looking for a takedown. Trevino pushes Thompson against the cage but Thompson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Thompson leaves Trevino with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Thompson cracks Trevino's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Trevino slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Thompson can do further damage! This one is done, son!
