The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rounder defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cotton.
Cotton has a takedown stuffed.

Rounder feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Rounder throws a strike but Cotton rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Rounder stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cotton swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Rounder drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Cotton dives on top into guard.

Cotton decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Rounder tries to bum rush Cotton with a series of wild strikes but Cotton uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Cotton shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rounder is trying to defend but Cotton finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Rounder cracks Cotton's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Cotton slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Rounder can do further damage! This one is done, son!
