The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierre is looking to clinch.

Morus misses with the head strike.
Morus lands a left hand that snaps the head of Pierre backwards.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Morus.
Pierre jumps guard but Morus stands there with Pierre around his waist. Pierre gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Pierre has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Morus can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Pierre drops his hands momentarily and Morus takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
It looks like Antoine Pierre has been cut.
Pierre moves into range and clinches up with Morus.

Pierre tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Morus smiles and moves away.
Pierre definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Morus connects with a jab.
Morus jabs Pierre to the body, keeping him at a distance.
A jab lands there for Morus.
Pierre has closed the distance and engaged Morus in a clinch.
Pierre is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Morus to keep the fight standing.

Morus throws a punch but it's blocked by Pierre.

and Morus connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A slow jab from Morus misses its intended target.
Pierre blocks a jab.
Morus cracks Pierre with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Pierre walks into a straight right hand from Morus.
Pierre is rocked!
Morus walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Pierre drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Morus swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Pierre's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gargan Morus!
Our winner, Gargan Morus, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
