The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reid misses with a wild body shot.
Reid avoids a kick to the body.
Reid steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Green.
Green thuds his right hand into Reid's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
A big right from Green misses.
Reid let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Green connects with a single shot there.
Reid looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Green moves into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Green blocks an elbow strike.
A frustrated look appears on Reid's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Green's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Reid defending well as Green loads up on a big left hand.
Green tries to close the distance and clinch up but Reid swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Reid looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Green moves into range and connects with a jab.
Reid steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Green.
Green throws a half hearted mid kick.
Reid uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Green.
Green scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Reid doesn't seem bothered though.
Soylent Green seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Green throws a head kick that misses
and Reid counters with a nice uppercut.

A nice leg kick lands there from Reid.

Green tries to land a leg kick but Reid saw it coming and moves away.

Reid swats away the attempt to clinch by Green.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Green lands a right hook to the body.

Green lands a left and a right that send Reid crashing to the mat, dazed. Green thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Reid is still on wobbly legs! Can Green finish him?
Reid pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Reid is holding his hands too far apart here. Green throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Reid is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
