Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ezekiel Massey (ranked 24712 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tae Lae Rocko (ranked 4691 p4p, 0 weight class). Tae Lae Rocko has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocko lands a nice leg kick that just misses Massey's sensitive parts.
Massey looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Rocko lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Ezekiel Massey has been cut.
Rocko dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Massey. That did some damage!
Rocko gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Massey tries for a takedown but Rocko manages to get underhooks.
Massey's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Massey tries to counter by clinching up but Rocko breaks away and moves out of range.

Massey pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rocko forces Massey back against the cage and clinches.

Massey tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rocko defends well and Massey ends up having to push Rocko into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Rocko unleashes a big counter combination but Massey bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Massey is nestled in close to Rocko , controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Massey is landing with some decent strikes but Rocko is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Rocko 's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Massey has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rocko takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Massey.
Rocko fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Massey, pushing him back against the cage.
Massey jumps guard but Rocko turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Massey is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Rocko can do to turn this around?
Rocko is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Massey has hold of one of Rocko 's legs. Rocko is fighting the takedown attempt but Massey gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Massey seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Rocko is looking to stand back up but Massey counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Rocko .

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Rocko is trying to stand.
Rocko pushes Massey off but Massey dives into side control.
Rocko tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Massey cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The referee warns Rocko that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Rocko takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Massey shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rocko as he avoids it easily.

Rocko is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Massey like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Massey from another fist facial!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tae Lae Rocko !
In his post fight interview, Tae Lae Rocko started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
