Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ezekiel Ithamar (ranked 271 p4p, 38 weight class) and Tony Bison (ranked 976 p4p, 125 weight class). Ithamar comes to the cage accompanied by Yamma Ensemble Psalms 104. Ezekiel Ithamar could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tony Bison's chin.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ezekiel Ithamar!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

17 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tony Bison!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bison swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Ithamar feinted with a counter takedown.
Ithamar has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ithamar tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Bison looking to stall.
Bison is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Bison is fighting off a takedown attempt but Ithamar is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Bison to the mat. Bison regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Ithamar trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bison can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ithamar controls the pace.
Bison tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Ithamar stays in close to Bison's body and controls the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ithamar slips nicely into half guard.
Bison really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ithamar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ithamar in particular looking to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ithamar has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Ithamar's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Bison is in trouble now - Ithamar has advanced to mount!
Ithamar controlling the pace for now.
Ithamar working for a submission but Bison is keeping him at bay.
Ithamar is trying to take his opponent's back.
Ithamar with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Bison tries to hold on but Ithamar pushes him away.
Ithamar is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bison to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bison shrugs it off.
Bison tries to buck Ithamar off but he can't manage it.
Bison has left one of his arms exposed and Ithamar doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Bison screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ezekiel Ithamar!
