Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Badr Houdoe (ranked 4104 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mladen Kemenovic (ranked 7972 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Houdoe throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kemenovic's waist but Kemenovic gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Houdoe off to one side.
Houdoe defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kemenovic.
Kemenovic plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Kemenovic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Houdoe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kemenovic wants to get back to his feet but Houdoe is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Houdoe creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kemenovic sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
