Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arnulfo Mccormick (ranked 5808 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kor Kotze (ranked 5820 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Arnulfo Mccormick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kor Kotze!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kotze shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kotze was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Mccormick tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Kotze misses with a head shot.
Mccormick avoids a series of strikes thrown by Kotze.
Kotze tries to control but Mccormick wriggling away.
Mccormick working to try and regain half guard.
Kotze unloads with some shots from mount but Mccormick bucks and avoids them well.
Kotze takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mccormick throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Kotze controlling the pace for now.
Mccormick is desperately trying to improve his position but Kotze has a good base and remains in mount.
Kotze jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Mccormick is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Mccormick and Kotze has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Kotze decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kotze closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Mccormick tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Kotze presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Kotze thowing shots but they're missing.
Kotze trying to control but Mccormick is having none of it.
Mccormick tries to lock up and control but Kotze gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kotze working some short elbows here. He postures up to throw some more ground and pound but Mccormick slips a leg through to get back to half guard. Nice work.
Kotze takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Kotze takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Kotze is trying to control. Mccormick wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Kotze thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mccormick's head.
Mccormick is not content to let Kotze control the position.
Mccormick wants to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.

Kotze is just content to waste time from the top position. Mccormick takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Kotze content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Mccormick has locked up a guillotine! Mccormick's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Kotze is holding on here and Mccormick must be using up a lot of energy. Kotze has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Mccormick gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
