PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gustav Ragnarson (ranked 13199 p4p, 812 weight class) and MIchael Henley (ranked 18508 p4p, 857 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Ragnarson.
Ragnarson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Henley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ragnarson tries to avoid it but Henley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ragnarson to the ground. Ragnarson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ragnarson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Henley is out of range and Ragnarson settles back down.
Henley misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Henley shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ragnarson as he jumps to the side.

Henley tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ragnarson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Henley somewhat.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ragnarson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
