Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Hays (ranked 8195 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juanma Ardiles (ranked 5691 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ardiles bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hays's head backwards.

Ardiles drives through and clinches with Hays against the cage.

Ardiles breaks the clinch.

Ardiles closes the distance and pushes Hays back into the cage.
Hays on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Ardiles is pressed up against the cage. Hays has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ardiles down to the mat. Ardiles avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Hays tries to counter by clinching up but Ardiles breaks away and moves out of range.
